book a consultation
As choosing your wedding cake is such an important part of planning your wedding, I offer a complimentary, face to face consultation. By getting to know you both and making sure you are a part of the design process, we will work together to ensure you get the cake of your dreams.
While you sample some delicious cakes, we discuss your ideas, inspirations and themes as I sketch your concepts into a design. I will then follow-up our meeting with an emailed quote.
The consultations are held at my cake studio in our family home, just outside of Bristol and only minutes from the M5. If necessary, I can be available to meet in the (weekday) evenings or weekends.
ordering your cake
In order to give your cake the attention it deserves, I have made the decision to do a maximum of two wedding cakes a week. This ensures I am able to give my full love and attention to every little detail of each tier, creating a perfectly finished cake for you. With that in mind, I recommend you enquire as soon as possible, preferably 9-12 months in advance.
If you know you would like to secure a date, but are not quite ready to book in a consultation, you can pay a non-refundable ‘save the date’ fee of £50 and we can pencil in a consultation later down the line. This will then go towards the cost of your cake.
Cake stand hire
I hold a selection of contemporary cake stands available to hire. A small hire fee of £10 plus a £50 refundable holding deposit is required for each stand. This can be discussed at your consultation.
delivery
Wedding cakes need to have a delicate hand so I always recommend that I personally deliver and set up your cake on the day. I am a recommended supplier to many venues so you’ll also benefit from my knowledge of the surroundings, as well as plenty of ideas to make the most out of your cake display.
I deliver to Bristol, The Cotswolds, Somerset, Wiltshire, Bath, Gloucester and Monmouthshire. The cost of delivery will be included in your quote and is calculated by the set-up time and mileage to and from your venue.
Payment
Once you have received your quote from me, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to confirm your order. The remaining balance is due a month before the big day, for which I will send a reminder email as I know your schedule is likely to be busy! I would prefer all payments to be made by bank transfer.
